Risinger was born June 8, 1923,
in Gueydan, Louisiana, to Edwin
and Telesia (Breaux) Richard.
She was a caring and loving 2nd
grade teacher at Little Cypress
Elementary School for about 20
years and made a difference in
her student's lives. She loved
to sew, crochet, quilt and teach.
She also loved to cook and garden.
She
was a member of TSTA, St. Frances
Eucharistic Ministry as well as
a Lector, member of the Alter
Society and the Sacred Heart Society.
Mrs.
Risinger was preceded in death
by her parents, her first husband,
Gabriel Mott, second husband,
Nath Risinger, sons, Wayne and
Eugene Mott and daughter, Winifred
Ann Mott.
She
is survived by her daughter and
son in law, Mary Theresa and Mark
Couvillion of Kingwood, step son
and wife, James Ray and Mary Kay
Risinger of Patroon, grandchildren,
Andra and Melissa Couvillion of
Kingwood. She is also survived
by her great grandchildren, Ashton

M. Greenwood, 63, of
Brandon, Mississippi passed away
Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at a Jackson,
Mississippi hospital. Ms. Greenwood
was born in Center to Charles
Greenwood of Mississippi and Doris
L. Greenwood of Center. Mr. Greenwood
was serving with the US Navy during
WWII when his daughter was born.
After the war, the family returned
to Mississippi where they made
their home.
Ms.
Greenwood attended Mississippi
public schools, where she graduated
in 1961. Upon high school graduation,
she attended the University of
Southern Mississippi for several
years. After college, she moved
to the Jackson, Mississippi area
where she has resided for the
past forty-three years. She worked
for Kirkland Homes as a bookkeeper.
Funeral
services will be held Thursday,
August 10, 2006 at Baldwin-Lee
Funeral Home Chapel in Pearl,
Mississippi. Interment will follow
Friday, August 11, 2006 at Oaklawn
Memorial Park in Center.
