James Ellis Pate, 82, of Huxley passed away Thursday, February 16, 2006 in Center. Mr. Pate was born February 10, 1924 in Dry Creek, Louisiana to J.E. Pate Sr. and Euginia Cole Pate. He served in the US Army during World War II and was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Pate retired from Texaco after 36 years as a production supervisor.
