Erica is the daughter of Alejandra Franco and Jose Figueroa.
Erica plays the saxophone in the Center High School Band. She plays volley ball and runs track. Erica is a member of Junior Chamber of Commerce, BETA and is a Junior Varsity Cheerleader.

Miss Taighen Mathews
Taighen is the daughter of Kelli Mathews and Murray Mathews.
Taighen attends the First Baptist Church in Center and is an active member of the youth group. While Taighen attended Center Middle School, she was a cheerleader and a member of Junior Chamber of Commerce. Taighen is currently the Freshmen class Secretary, Cheerleader, a member of Future Farmers of America and a member of Junior Chamber of Commerce. |
Representing the Sophomore Class:
Miss Karen Esparza
Karen is the daughter of Manuel and Rosa Esparza.
Karen has been a cheerleader for three years, and is currently serving captain of the Junior Varsity squad. This is the second year in a row that Karen has served as her class treasurer. She has played volleyball for three years, soccer for one, participated in band for four years and she is currently on the Varsity Golf team. Last year, Coach Munoz awarded Karen his student of the year award. Karen wants to become an ultra-sound technician. Her favorite thing to do is make people smile. |

Miss Meagan Nehring
Meagan is the daughter of Chad and Ann Nehring.
Meagan attends Word of Faith in Joaquin. She is a member of Junior Chamber of Commerce. Meagan also enjoys playing softball. Meagan plans to attend Texas A&M University. |

Miss Sykera Berry
Sykera is the daughter of Greg and Katina Hubbard.
Sykera is a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she serves as a youth user. She has played on the Lady Rider volleyball team for three years and softball team for two years. Sykera has been a cheerleader for years. Her hobbies include texting, and hanging out with her friends and family. |

Miss Magon Teske (No photo)
Magon is the daughter of JR and Angie Teske.
Magon has been a member of Junior Chamber of Commerce for 5 years. She has played volleyball for 4 years. Megon is currently the Junior Class President. During Magon’s Freshmen year she was class president, and was given the student of the year award. Magon regularly attends the Methodist Youth fellowship program and went with the UM Army this past summer. Her hobbies include photography, playing the guitar and going to the lake with her family. |
Representing the Senior Class and your first queen candidate is:
Miss Mariah Fulbright
Mariah is the daughter of Jason and Barbara Fulbright.
Mariah has proudly served as a Center Roughrider Football Manager for the past three years. This past summer, Mariah completed the 2011 TCU-SMU Athletic Training Workshop. She has been elected to serve the Senior Class President. Maria is an active member of the Gravity youth ministries of New Life Church where she serves as part of the youth praise band. Mariah holds the 2005 Shelby County Pre-Teen, and 2007 Shelby County Jr. Teen Title. The last three years she has served on the CHS Homecoming Court and was the CHS Homecoming Princess in 2009. Mariah’s hobbies include texting, singing, helping others, and spending time with her family and best friends. After graduation, Mariah plans to go to college and receive a Master of Science Degree in Athletic Training. |

Miss Sara Harkness
Sara is the daughter of Bryan and Becki Harkness.
Sara has served as a class officer all four years of her high school career. She currently serves as the Senior class Treasurer. Sara also serves as reporter of Future Farmers of America, treasurer of National Honor Society, she is a member of Beta and High School Rodeo. Sara participates in the Broiler Project as well as the Agriculture Mechanics and Skills team. She was the 2010 Poultry Festival Queen Sara is in the top 10% of her graduating class. |

Miss Emily Shoop
Emily is the daughter of Chance and Sherri Shoop.
Emily has been a cheerleader for all four years of her high school career. She was All-star Cheerleader for two years and cheer caption for two years. Emily is currently a member of National Honors Society, BETA club, Junior Chamber of Commerce where she is a Young Ambassador, Mu Alpha Theta, DECA and part of the Yearbook Staff. Emily is the Senior Class Reporter. Emily is a member of Word of Faith Church. She loves volunteering at local events around our community. Emily is also in the top 10% of her graduating class. She plans to attend Texas A&M University to study Business Management. Emily would like to thank her senior class for this opportunity to represent them. |
