The Shelby County Parent Homebase
Committee will be having a Bake
Sale For Education on November
7th starting at 10 am. We will be
setting up at Quick Stop in Timpson.
The bake sale will be going toward
the end of the year educational trip
for our 3 and 4 yr old and toward
their graduation.
There will be a benefit for
Wanda Coats this Saturday
evening, November 7th. The benefit
will be held at Camp Worth Park in
San Augustine (maps available to site
at Hwy 7 Drive-Thru in Center.) There
will be a live band, bbq for sale,
and raffles. A $5.00 minimum donation
will be taken at the gate.
The Joaquin Christmas Committee
will hold its first work day
this Saturday morning. Anyone who
would like to help with Christmas
lights and decorations should be at
the Joaquin Fire Department at 10:00am.The
Joaquin Christmas Festival is November,28.For

The Lakes Area Arts League announces
the Ellen Cogswell Art Exhibition
at the LAAL Art Center, located at
305 Nacogdoches Street, on Saturday,
Nov. 7, 2009 with an opening reception
from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The public
is invited to attend the reception
and meet the artist, Ellen Cogswell.
The exhibit will remain on display
through Saturday, Nov. 21, 2008.
